Questions About Audiotech Products.
Does Audiotech accept Paypal?
No, we do not accept Paypal. Most of our products are available through our dealers who accept credit cards for payment. So Paypal is not necessary in cases where a customer would like to use their credit card. As far as custom work, we will be accepting credit cards for this in the near future. As of right now we prefer other payment methods to Paypal, such as a bank check.

After much customer feedback (both good and bad), doing extensive research and after hearing both sides of the argument we believe the jury is still out on the whole issue of using Paypal. And our position is that we are not very comfortable with this method of payment at this time. This is not in any way a condemnation of Paypal. We simply prefer a different method of payment for our products. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Please contact us and we will work with you and our dealers to get our products out to you in the best possible way. Thank you.

Can I use any power supply to power the Source Selector 1X6 Rack Mount Switching Unit? Which kind should I use? What do you recommend?
Yes, you can use other power supplies to power the Source Selector. A good high quality, low noise, well regulated 9VDC 1200mA (at least) power supply should be used. The tip should always be negative. Keep in mind the warranty does not cover damage to the product as a result of accident or misuse. This includes hooking up a power supply incorrectly. Or power supplies that are not compatible with the Source Selector.

We do not recommend powering the Source Selector from a pedal board power supply such as the Voodoo Lab Pedal Power, Visual Sound One Spot or the Godlyke Power All. As always we highly recommend the SS1X6PS-1. Please understand that the SS1X6PS-1 was developed specifically for use with the Source Selector 1X6 Rack Mount Switching Unit.

Why is it that my Audiotech selector (ABY, ABC) seems quieter than the Morley and the other switchers on the market? The others seem noisier.
While ours are not totally silent. The obvious answer is because ours are in fact quieter. Even on a large stage through a 10,000 watt PA system. Because of some of the higher quality components we use our selectors are actually quieter and sound clearer than Morley's or our other competitors. As numerous industry professionals can attest to.

Does Audiotech do custom work? Can you build me a custom switcher?
Audiotech accepts custom work on a very limited basis. However, we do not accept all custom design requests. There is a mininmum order of $200.00 Please visit our "Order" page for more information.

Will my Audiotech selector produce a click or pop through my amplifiers?
The short answer is that you will only hear a slight click. However, this
clicking even through high gain amplifiers is virtually inaudible. Audiotech strives to keep clicking and popping to a minimum with special circuitry.

Are all of the Audiotech products silk screened?
Not all of them, Audiotech uses peel and stick labels on some of our custom products, made from a professional electronic label machine. This allows us to give our customers their choice of names for each function on their custom Audiotech product. Like for example "Crystal Clean", "Heavy Crunch" or "Super Lead".

Does the Audiotech ABC selector CCM combine channels?
Yes, the Audiotech ABC selector CCM allows you to combine any of its three channels. Giving you more versatility by allowing you to connect up to three amplifiers, for a deeper more layered sound.

How come when I connect up two or more amplifiers to my Audiotech selector there is hum noise? Is it my Audiotech selector creating the hum?
The hum you are hearing is from hooking various amplifier grounds together. Hence, the difference in grounding between two or more amplifiers creates a ground loop (hum) this has nothing to do with your Audiotech selector.

Will my Audiotech selector load down or degrade my signal?
No, most Audiotech selectors have an input impedence of 1 meg ohm thus preserving the integrity of the signal. Unlike Morley switchers and other manufacturers which have an input impedence of 100K, this degrades and loads down your already weak guitar signal. Because of the low input impedence most of your signal is shunted to ground with these (Morley) switchers.
